A MUM will not face criminal charges over the death of her four-year-old son who died in a house blaze.

Tragic Jac Davies died after flames ripped through the family home in the early hours of July 27, last year.

His mum Jennifer Davies, 28, escaped the fire with her daughter Kelsey, six, and her 11-month-old baby.

Her three-year-old son Riley was rescued by a firefighter.

Now the crown prosecution service has revealed the mum will not face criminal charges over the fire in Alltwen near Pontardawe, South Wales.

A spokesman said: "A 28 year-old woman has been released without charge following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service."

The inquest for Jac Davies is still to take place.
