NATIONAL Poo Museum curators are asking 'poo-dunnit?' after a collection of cow pats was stolen.
Burglars broke in to the 'drying facility van' at the museum, the bizarre attraction that launched at the Isle of Wight Zoo, Sandown, earlier this year.

“It may sound very strange but it is true. Presumably, in the dark they didn’t know what they had their hands on,” said Nicola Winsland.
Nicola had been inspired by the museum to pen the book Pooems.A Humorous Anthology of Animal Poo, and was drying the pats as part of a display for the book launch.

“All that was left behind after they broke in to the van, which has the drying equipment in it, were a few cowpat crumbs,” said Nicola.
“But they really dropped themselves in it and us too because the pats were especially collected for display at my book launch.

“They were part-way through the lengthy drying process and there is not enough time to prepare replacements.”
Nicola, created a poster appealing for information about anyone ‘acting or smelling suspiciously.'
